Venansio Ahabwe is an African writer from Uganda. He is a teacher, author and social scientist who has penned different books and hundreds of articles published in various journals and other media platforms in East Africa. He has also led the development and ratification of certain health policies, project approaches and strategic plans, social behaviour change materials and tools, conference papers, technical reports and other scholarly resources. His works, among others, include ‘Globalisation and the Mother Tongue Teaching in Uganda’; ‘To Hell with Male Prostitutes and Other Stories’; ‘Where There Is A Will’ as well as ‘How To Manage A Manager’. In his career as a social development worker, Venansio Ahabwe has held both management and technical positions in different nongovernmental, political, educational, spiritual, financial and professional establishments. He is passionate about social justice and maintains that every person, irrespective of social status, deserves honour.
